Day 26 of "Bigg Boss 9" saw wild card contestant Puneet Vashist wooing the female inmates and the sudden exit of Keith Sequeira.
The day started with a grumpy Rochelle Rao confronting Puneet and warning him not to talk to the cameras in the wee hours and disturb the housemates when they are asleep. While Puneet didn't react initially, Kishwer Merchantt and Yuvika Chaudhary told Rochelle that she was being unnecessarily very rude to Puneet . This led to a heated argument among Rochelle, Puneet, Kishwer and Yuvika early in the morning.
Later in the day, Bigg Boss asked Keith to leave the house immediately and informed the viewers that he was asked to leave due to his brother's sudden demise.
In the evening, Bigg Boss asked the housemates to nominate three housemates whose performance in the luxury budget task -- hotel Bigg Boss -- was disappointing. The inmates chose Mandana Karimi, Rishabh Sinha and Rimi Sen as the worst performers of the task.
The three contestants were then asked to enter three separate double-trouble soundproof booths where their decision-making skills were put to test. Bigg Boss gave the three housemates four options and asked them to announce their decision by pressing the buzzer.
The result of the task would decide whether inmates would be able to sleep on their beds or not. Mandana, Rishabh and Rimi saved themselves, thereby making the rest of the inmates sleep on the floor.
Later in the evening, Bigg Boss announced a task where Puneet and Rishabh had to woo the girls of the house. The contestant who would have the majority of women on his side would win the task. Puneet emerged as the winner of the task.
By the end of the day, Puneet spoke to Digangana Suryavanshi and asked her why she supported Rishabh in the task despite the major fallout between her and Rishabh. Puneet informed the 18-year-old that her parents visited him and were worried about her rapport with Rishabh inside the house.
The prelude of the next episode saw Prince Narula expressing his feelings to Yuvika.
