While the hype surrounding "Bigg Boss 9" is gaining momentum with names of several likely contestants popping up, singer Mika Singh has expressed a desire to be part of the show's upcoming season.
The controversial singer, at a recent event, also stated that his entry in "Bigg Boss 9" will hike the channel's TRP and make Colors the best channel in the world.
"If they offer me a good amount of money, then I am ready to enter the 'Bigg Boss' house. And with my arrival, the channel's TRP would increase and it will become the world's number 1 channel," said Mika Singh during the announcement of a music concert on Monday.
Interestingly, Mika Singh made the comment in the presence of Colors CEO, Raj Nayak, who immediately came up with a smart reply: "I will consider that offline. He said he gets paid very much. So I am a little worried."
Mika Singh is one of the most controversial singers of Bollywood by virtue of the kissing episode with Rakhi Sawant and most recently, hitting a doctor during a live performance.
The upcoming season of "Bigg Boss 9" will be hosted by Salman Khan and Mika Singh is supposed to be a good friend of the superstar.
Earlier, TV actor Amit Tandon also stated that he was approached by the makers of the show and he is ready to be one of the participants. "I have been approached for Bigg Boss 9 and I am positive about it. I am a difficult person to live with, but I have done several reality shows and I would love to take up the challenge," DNA quoted Amit Tandon as saying.
While the show is expected to have a lot of drama and twists, this time, having the tagline "double trouble", rumours of adult star Mia Khalifa to be a part of the show has made the audience even more excited.
However, the porn star soon denied the buzz stating that she does not have any plan to enter the show. Although names of several celebrities are being associated with the show, the final list of contestants has not been revealed yet.
