The new season of the most controversial TV reality show, "Bigg Boss", has been making news for quite some time now.

Host Salman Khan, who had to quit the last season midway and was replaced by filmmaker Farah Khan, will apparently reprise his role as the host in the ninth season as well.

While makers are yet to announce the participants of "Bigg Boss 9", here is a list of some popular male TV actors whom we would like to see in the upcoming season.

Aly Goni: Aly came to limelight with his stint in reality show "Splitsvilla 5" and then rose to fame with his role as Romi in "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein". With such popularity, the hunk can try his luck by participating in "Bigg Boss 9". It should be noted that Aly's rumoured ex-girlfriend Natasa Stankovic participated in "Bigg Boss 8".

Rajat Tokas: With the popular historical show "Jodha Akbar" going off air, Rajat aka Akbar can try participating in "Bigg Boss 9" to give a boost to his career.

Karan Patel: Popularly known as Raman of "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein", Karan Patel has been ruling the hearts of millions. It would indeed be a treat for his fans to watch the actor perform tasks and entertain viewers inside the Bigg Boss house.

Shakti Arora: Ranveer of "Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi" is both popular temperamental onscreen, making it eligible to enter the mad house.

Parth Samthaan: Parth of "Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan" has turned out to be a popular TV actor with an immensely big fan base. With the show coming to an end, it won't come as a surprise for viewers if "Boss Boss 9" approaches him.
