Salman Khan's "Bigg Boss 9" may entertain viewers with controversies and juicy gossips, but it's a well-known fact that surviving inside the locked house for over three months isn't an easy task.
Contestants need to sign a contract before entering the glass-walled house and abide by the rules throughout their stay inside the "Bigg Boss 9" house. If any contestant chooses to break any rule of the contract, he/she will have to bear the consequences.
From the very first season, one of the clauses in the contract is that contestants will have to pay a penalty for quitting the show midway.
According to a report in Bollywood Life, in "Bigg Boss 9", if any contestant wishes to leave show midway, he/she will have to pay a fine of Rs 5 crore. That is another reason why Rimi Sen is still on the show despite badly wanting to go home.
The fine this season is surprisingly much higher than the previous season's contract, wherein contestants wishing to quit the show were required to shell out Rs 50 lakh. Check out last season's leaked contract details, here.
With this, it appears like "Bigg Boss 9" will be much tougher for contestants than the previous seasons.
Meanwhile, in week two of "Bigg Boss 9", Aman Verma, Prince Narula, Roopal Tyagi, Mandana Karimi and Rimi nominated themselves for elimination.
