While "Bigg Boss 8" is coming to an end, the makers had recently decided to keep a mid-week eviction, which will take place on Thursday, 1 January 2015.
Contestants who are in the danger zone for this week include, Sonali Raut, Dimpy Mahajan, Karishma Tanna, Upen Patel, Pritam Singh and Ali Quli Mirza. Gautam Gulati and Puneet Issar are in the safe zone.
And now it has been revealed that Upen Patel, with least number of votes, got eliminated from the show.
Reportedly, Upen's close friend Karishma was heard saying "Miss you Upen" as he left the house.
Interestingly, it was reported that there will be three evictions this week, and the remaining five survivors will be announced as champions on the grand finale on 3 January.
These five champions will further compete with some of the ex-contestants of the show, in an exclusive series "Bigg Boss Halla Bol" starting 4 January, to win the reality show.
But with the news of Upen been eliminated, it remains to be seen if there are more evictions along with the "36 China Town" or if there is more in store for the viewers.
Of late, Upen has been under the scanner for all the wrong reasons. The model-turned-actor who had been the good guy of the house, suddenly turned volatile and started picking up unnecessary fights with his co-contestants, forcing them to nominate him for this week's elimination.
His quarrelsome attitude didn't go down well among his fans and viewers alike making him take an exit from the show.
