Easily one of the lazy contestants of "Bigg Boss 8", contestant Sonali Raut on day 97 confessed to have used Gautam Gulati and Upen Patel to survive in the show.
During the "lie detector" task, Puneet Issar and Dimpy Mahajan were asked few house-related questions for which they had to answer either 'yes' or 'no'. The contestants, who were seated in the living area privy to a live footage of their task, had to hold up placards with 'sach' (true)and 'jhooth' (false) written on them.
It was then that Raut admitted that she was playing with Gautam and Upen's feelings just to find a love angle that would help her survive in the high-voltage reality show.
"The Xpose" fame actress is notorious for throwing herself at the boys of the mad house. Earlier, when she returned after being evicted, she found solace in Gulati as he too was sidelined by the housemates.
Later, the two shared few romantic moments, which fizzled out eventually as Raut drifted towards Patel. Trying to find solace in the "36 China Town" actor, the lady tried wooing him using her charm. Patel fell for it initially but later realised it to be nothing but a sham to stay in the game.
Lisa Haydon, who was on the show to promote "The Shaukeens", challenged Raut to convince Patel to come out on a date with her. Raut was successful and the two warmed up to each other, but Patel backed out later.
The actress-model was recently miffed with Karishma Tanna trying to teach Patel a few dance steps for a show they were asked to perform for guests Karan Singh Grover and Bipasha Basu. Tanna, who was visibly upset with Raut trying to create a scene, asked her what makes her so insecure.
Raut's weird ways drew a lot of flak from the housemates as well as viewers. However, whether it was a strategy to survive in the show or real, is something that's best known to her.
