Still two weeks to go for the season premiere, but "Bigg Boss 8" is already creating ripples with fresh controversies.
From the design of the 'mad' house to the contestant list, the buzz around the show is unimaginable. However, according to a Miss Malini report, host Salman Khan's ex-lover (who was reportedly approached for the show) has been asked to stay away from the show.
"Ex-boyfriend (and current show host) Salman Khan told her that she should not agree to be a part of the show as it would be a wrong move for her. Sangeeta too wasn't exactly convinced that having her life documented on television was something she wanted," the report states.
Is it a kind gesture from the superstar or will Bijlani's presence on the show make him uncomfortable? While exact reasons are hard to find, here's hoping that the actor, like every year, soon nominates two names which don't make him uneasy.
While, rumours are rife that actress Minissha Lamba, Shweta Salve, Karishma Tanna and Mariam Zakaria have said yes to the show, fresh reports suggest VJ Bani and actor Sushant Singh have also been approached.
In an effort to make this season bigger and better, the makers have apparently signed on Mr Gay India 2014 – Sushant Divgika. "Sushant was approached by the makers and he has accepted the offer. He signed the contract four weeks back," a source close to the development told Bollywood Life.
With a tagline of "Bigg Boss aath, sabki lagegi vaat", the promos of the show do give off a thrilling vibe. Reportedly designed as an aircraft, looks like the "Bigg Boss" house will offer even more exciting gossip to the viewers this time around.
To be aired from 21 September, the show has been allotted the prime-time slot.
