Twists and turn are an integral part of the controversial reality show "Bigg Boss 8" and last week was no different. Six contestants were nominated for the eviction round and according to the show's format one had to leave the show.
However, the makers changed the format of the eviction special episode on Sunday. Initially, there were reports that Sonali Raut would leave the show on Sunday night, but later there were reports that there will be no eviction.
Businessofcinema.com reported that Sonali received lowest votes and was to be evicted, but the show host Salman Khan saved her.
Salman, who turned 49 on 27 December, said that he didn't want anyone to be evicted this week due to his birthday. And on Salman's request the makers decided to keep Sonali in the house.
Meanwhile, the contestants celebrated Salman's birthday on Monday when the host entered the "Bigg Boss" house.
After celebrating his birthday, Salman revealed another twist with ex-contestant Ajaz Khan's entry into the house. Ajaz will be a part of "Bigg Boss" Halla Bol episode, which will be hosted by Farah Khan.
The actor, who was the third runner-up last year, said that he will try to be a decent and respectful this year.
"My fans loved me during the last season. So you can say I'm back on popular demand. I am going in not as a wild-card entry but as a challenger," he told IANS.
"As the first challenger on the new format of the show, I have a special responsibility to set the pace, to ensure that nothing cheap happens. My fans who loved me on 'Bigg Boss' know what to expect from me. I will be decent, cultured, gentle and respectful. I won't do anything cheesy to get votes," the actor added.
The Halla Bol episode will start on 4 January with four more contestants entering into the show. For complete details on Farah's "Bigg Boss Halla Bol" check here.
