Salman Khan's "Bigg Boss 8" has already generated enough buzz ahead of its season premiere on 21 September.
Having shot a couple of promos for the show with director Rohit Shetty, reports suggest that the actor has gone a step ahead this time and filmed a teaser lying on one of the conveyor belts at the Mumbai airport.
"Special arrangements were made for Salman, and the airport authorities provided high level security, so that Salman wouldn't get mobbed. The day looked busy with over 100 crew members setting up the shoot for the promo," The Times of India quoted a source close to the development.
Apparently, the actor will be seen warning the contestants regarding impending challenges on the show. "The promo shows Salman lying on a conveyor belt and talking about how contestants will be in for a surprise when they enter the show. It has been directed by Rohit Shetty," the source added.
Earlier, it was reported that the actor will fly to Bangkok for the teasers but later it was shifted to Karjat where Khan has been shooting for Sooraj Barjatya's "Prem Ratan Dhan Payo."
Talking about working with Khan, Shetty said it was a "great experience". "This is not the first time I have shot for the promos. We had done the 'Bigg Boss 5' promos as well. All the promos that you see for this season are done by me and my team. Colors and I have a long association and it is always great working with Salman," he told DNA.
Apart from the intriguing promos, what has kept the viewers guessing is the contestant list. While recent reports suggest that Minissha Lamba, Shweta Salve, Karishma Tanna and Mariam Zakaria have been confirmed, the makers are yet to make an official announcement.
