Rahul Mahajan, who is one of the most notorious "Bigg Boss" contestants, might ring in the New Year with his estranged wife Dimpy Mahajan inside the "BB8" house.
"Bigg Boss 8" host Salman Khan last weekend announced that soon a wild card contestant would enter the house, and since then rumours of Rahul entering the house has been doing the rounds.
According to The Times of India, the former pilot will enter the show on 30 December. Presently, Rahul is busy shooting for his debut film "Lord of Shingnapur", in which he plays the role of the lead character's friend. Thus, he has to finish the shooting of the movie before entering the reality show.
The producer of the film, Raj Rathod, also confirmed the news to the leading daily.
However, adding twist to the story, Rahul denied news of him entering the reality show. The former pilot clarified to Deccan Chronicle that the reports are not true. He also said that the on-going season is very boring.
"It's not true. I had gone to the house for one episode because I love Bigg Boss, but that's that. Even though I enjoyed myself, I find this season very boring. There could have been a lot of entertainment than there is," he told the daily.
When asked about the winner of the season eight, Rahul said that he wants a male contestant to win the show.
"Well, girls have been winning the recent seasons, so I hope a male contestant wins the show this time around," he added.
Rahul was a part of the second season of the reality show, which was aired in 2008. He was one of the popular contestants of the second season and the show topped the rating charts during the finale due to his voluntary exit.
