Salman Khan's "Weekend ka Vaar" on "Bigg Boss 8" was an entertaining one.
Music composers Sajid-Wajid, who were on the show, had fun with the contestants and the live audience and also made Salman sing to their tunes. Meanwhile, Aarya Babbar-Minissha Lamba, and Gautam Gulati-Sonali Raut danced to their songs.
"Bigg Boss 6" winner Urvashi Dholakia, who was invited on the show to give the housemates an idea of what the viewers are thinking of them, picked Gulati and Pritam Singh as her favourite contestants. The former winner also went on to add that Upen Patel is boring and Karishma Tanna extremely confused.
The television actress, who knows Sushant Divgikar personally, added that he should voice his opinions in a strong manner and that relationships should be kept at bay when playing the game. Ali Quli Mirza's captaincy was heavily criticized by Dholakia as she thought he gets a little violent and also personal during delegating household chores.
However, the host then announced Diandra Soares and Raut as safe. While Lamba survived this week's eliminations, Soni Singh was eliminated. Soni was then showed a clip where Puneet Issar was caught criticising her love for Patel.
Although the P3G group (Issar, Gulati, Pritam and Praneet Bhatt) made comments in jest, Soni took it in a different sense and gave Gulati and Pritam 'sevak' (servant) status. She also added that over-analyzing someone's relationship will not serve any purpose.
Divgikar expressed his disappointment over the eviction and said Lamba has been playing shrewd games in the house and that Soni was more simple and pure at heart. Acknowledging his reasons, Raut added that the actress never does her tasks properly and adds that she definitely has a strategy. Does the rest of the house agree to this opinion? Only time will tell.
The prelude shows a tiff between Mirza and Bhatt on the household chores, and also a bit about the nomination round, which will be held on day 36.
