Looks like makers of "Bigg Boss 8" are doing their best to trigger TRP ratings.
Apart from a special appearance by reality TV star Kim Kardashian on "Weekend ka Vaar" with Salman Khan, the gorgeous diva will also introduce the fifth wild card entry – Faisal Saif, according to a Bollywood Life report.
Since it is a high-voltage reality show and thrives on controversy, it is next to impossible to have contestants without a questionable past. Director Saif is known for getting into a legal tiff with superstar Rajnikanth for releasing "Main Hoon Rajinikanth". While the "Lingaa" star accused him of exploiting his image, the filmmaker reportedly said that it was only a comedy film and was in no way a biopic on the legendary actor.
"Megastar Rajinikanth moved the Madras High Court to stop the release and screening of the film alleging that the filmmaker exploited his image by using his name in the title of the film. After Rajinikanth's objection, Saif changed the film's name to Main Hoon Rajini and said that he had to take the decision as producer's money was at stake," reported BL.
Ali Quli Mirza, Dimpy Mahajan, Renee Dhyani and Nigaar Khan have so far made surprise entries into the house of horrors, but have in no way managed to spike the hotness quotient of the show.
A few days ago, it was reported "BB8" was at the top of the TRP game when it was first aired but soon lost out to Aamir Khan's "Satyamev Jayate".
"Going by the TVT rating, the opening episode of BB8 scored a whopping 7.9 compared to Satyamev Jayate's season opener, which bagged about 4.9. But in the long run, BB has failed to sustain its ratings and has dipped way below expectations with ratings dropping to an unexpected low," reported DNA.
Will the new face trigger a few never-before-seen fights or will the interest continue to fade? Only time will tell.
