Actress Karishma Tanna suffered severe head injury in the "Bigg Boss 8" house when she was trying to run away after stealing an artefact as a part of this week's luxury budget task called 'Museum'.
As part of this luxury budget task, Karishma Tanna stole an artefact from the museum and was trying to escape, when she banged her head on the glass door. She collapsed on the ground after suffering a severe head injury. Her co-contestants rushed to her help. A doctor was called to the house, when the situation got worse due to excessively bleeding. She required three stitches for the wound and the doctor prescribed some medicines for the pain.
The makers of "Bigg Boss 8" have created a 'Museum' inside the house. Bigg Boss has divided the housemates into two teams - caretakers of the museum and thieves. The team of caretakers includes Upen Patel, Sonali Raut, Dimpy Mahajan, Diandra Soares, Gautam Gulati and Puneet Issar, who are supposed to make sure that everything in the museum is safe and not stolen.
Karishma Tanna, Praneet Bhatt and Ali Quli are in the team of thieves and their job is to rob artefacts from the museum and place them in the confession room. Captain Pritam Singh supervises the task. The thieves can be jailed if they are caught red-handed, but Pritam has the final word on sending suspected candidates to jail.
Karishma Tanna might have acquired a bad name for her illogical arguments in the house, but she is dedicated and takes everything seriously when it comes to performing any task. She took part in the task even after the injury. This could be the reason why viewers like her and support her stay in the house for long.
