Salman Khan, who will reprise his role as the host of the popular controversial show, "Bigg Boss", has launched the season's eighth installment on 12 September, ahead of the show's premiere on 21 September.
It was a grand event held in Mumbai with live audience amidst an aircraft close to the stage and models dressed as air-hostesses.
Khan, who is known for his fun filled remarks and banter, was seen interacting with ex-contestant of "Bigg Boss" VJ Andy, who was hosting the event. The duo made the audiences laugh their heart out with their funny antics.
The actor even danced to the song "Yaar Na Miley" from his blockbuster "Kick".
However, Khan spilled some beans about "Bigg Boss 8" while speaking about the reality show in the press conference.
Here are some hilarious statements that the "Kick" star made during the press conference, according to Miss Malini.
1."This time Colors has so much money in their budget for 'Bigg Boss' that we can afford to fly abroad and still shoot indoors."
2. "We'd be having many foreigner contestants in the house. And as you all know, most of them might already be my friends."
3. "You know why I am dressed as a pilot? Because I have never done a pilot episode for a TV show."
4. "Wasn't taking Andy in the house a mistake last year? I promise we won't repeat it again."
5. "I am in touch with all the contestants we've had on our show previously. You won't believe it but I am still sorting their shit out!"
However, the actor and the makers did not reveal the names of the contestants of this season, though, there are reports on the final list of contestants.
Television actress Shweta Salve, Iranian actress Maryam Zakaria, Karishma Tanna, Arya Babbar, VJ Bani are reportedly some of the final contestants of "Bigg Boss 8" who will compete with each other for the next 90 days.
This time around, the new edition will certainly be tougher for the contestants with full of excitement for the audiences too.
It was evident during the latest promo of "Bigg Boss 8" where Khan gave a hint that the new season will bring surprising twists for the housemates.
By the end of the promo, he even says "Bajaa Doonga", thereby indicating that the eighth season will be a difficult one for the contestants.
