Salman Khan's "Bigg Boss 8 Finale ka Twist" couldn't have ended on a better note. And quite obviously, there have been select few moments from the show, which have struck the right chord.
Superstar's hosting skill needs a special mention here. The episode opened with a stunning performance by him and few of the eliminated contestants – Praneet Bhatt, Arya Babbar, Natasha Stankovic, Minissha Lamba. He then, in his unique style, asked Diandra Soares who she thought would win.
Gushing on being asked, the supermodel quickly answered saying she thinks and wants Gautam Gulati to win the high-voltage reality show. This, clearly, was another cute moment from the show. Salman also went on to ask how she would describe her relationship with the suave contestant. "We are just good friends," she quipped.
This statement was followed by a heart-warming performance by Diandra and Gautam. The chemistry looked real and was appreciated by the viewers. Here are some tweets:
Just Me: @diandrasoares13 your performance with @TheGautamGulati was super fab. Expressions of you both were bang on !! Mwah
Siddhi: The performance on galliyan was beyond perfection! N that 'Just Friends' thing at the end was hillarious! @diandrasoares13
Zuni Naaz: @diandrasoares13 D u were lookin jst awesome and waitin to see Gauti win BB8 and ua frndship outside d show lots Luv we luv we luv Gauti..
However, apart from Sonali Raut and Puneet Issar's eviction, what was more shocking was the former's reluctance to dress up for the episode. Every weekend the contestants dress up to meet Salman and the studio audience through ME TV, but clearly the model-actress was not in the mood.
In a t-shirt and pyjamas, Sonali explained that she was tired of being pushed beyond her patience. Apparently, the girls were promised hair and make-up by experts, but later they were asked to get dressed by themselves. "The Xpose" fame actress continued that she wasn't interested in doing so.
This episode was followed by a few wise words from the superstar. He said the format of the show is such that a contestant is forced to adjust to changing situations, and this might happen during the shoot of a film too. Sonali, however, looked totally upset refusing to dress up.
Salman vacating the mantle for "Happy New Year" director Farah Khan was another important sequence from Saturday's episode. He left her with a letter wherein he joked that should she need any help she mustn't give him a call. However, later the superstar, in his farwell speech, assured that the show will be in safe hands apologising for having to leave "BB8" due to prior work commitments.
The introduction of the challengers – Sana Khan, Mahek Chahal, Sambhavna Seth, Rahul Mahajan – forms another important segment and also gives an idea of what to expect from the show. Drama, fights, and more controversies are in store now.
