After being reprimanded for a handful of verbal altercations and physical assaults, it seems that Puneet Issar is in no mood to reform his ways on "Bigg Boss 8".
As shown in the prelude to Tuesday's episode, Issar gets into a tussle with Karishma Tanna during the luxury-budget task, wherein the former (posing as the guard of a museum) has been entrusted with the job of looking after the precious items and ensure that nothing goes missing. Tanna, on the other hand, is a thief who is meant to lift stuff and pass it on to the store room. While at it, she was pushed hard by Issar.
While the viewers are clearly unhappy with the episode, some of the ex-contestants, Aarya Babbar and Minissha Lamba, have also expressed their disgust over Issar's behaviour.
"Has Mr. Puneet Issar lost his marbles ? Has @BiggBoss lost his head ? Has @ColorsTV lost all ethics for #TRP! Tolerate a man to hit a woman!," Babbar wrote and added, "Such mad mad men to make a show work ? ? Has the credibility of a show of a channel is so lose n pathetic ??".
Whereas Lamba, who has often been on Issar's cross hair, was elated with his nomination. "Somebody's stunned face when nominated today.... PRICELESS," she posted.
The recently evicted Renee Dhyani too has a similar opinion on Issar: "Puneetji is manipulative and I am sure the audience knows this now. He makes sure that everyone in his team stays away from people who don't listen to him. He is sweet like a kaju barfi on your face, but once you turn around, he turns into a bitter karela," DNA quoted the "Roadies 8" contestant as saying.
So, does this mean Issar stands a chance of being evicted this week? With the voting lines closed for the week, it remains to be seen as to who will end their stint on the show this time around.
