"Bigg Boss 8" might be coming to a close, but the makers have announced a new series – "Bigg Boss Halla Bol" – which will see top five champions compete with five challengers – Rahul Mahajan, Sambhavna Seth, Mahek Chahal, Ajaz Khan and Sana Khan.
According to a Colors report published a few days ago, the grand finale with Salman Khan is to be aired on 3 January, Saturday in which the five champions will be revealed based on the votes they receive.
"Wish Salman Khan a very happy birthday in the most creative and crazy way you can think of and that wish would get you a chance to be a part of the grand finale of Bigg Boss on 3 january 2015," read the statement.
While, there's still a confusion among viewers if the final winner will be announced on Saturday, Twitter handle BiggBoss8LiveNews, known for breaking "BB8" stories, informed that only the top five will be unveiled on Saturday's episode, who will then lock horns with the challengers. The handle also went onto inform that Puneet Issar and Dimpy Mahajan are likely to get evicted.

They also announced that the final winner will be announced during the finale to be hosted by Farah Khan on 31 January.

Interestingly, a few days ago it was widely reported that the first winner will be from the current batch of contestants.
"The first winner will be from the current lot of contestants. And then there will be another finale with Farah in February where the second winner will be announced," Bollywood Life quoted a source as saying. But, looks like, such isn't the case.
However, since the house is now left with seven contestants (after Upen Patel's surprise eviction) – Gautam Gulati, Karishma Tanna, Puneet Issar, Pritam Singh, Ali Quli Mirza, Sonali Raut, Dimpy Mahajan – and the finale is set to uncover five champions, it is very clear that Saturday's episode will witness a double eviction.
In other news, Salman Khan opted out of the show owing to prior work commitments and packed schedule, and was replaced by "Happy New Year" director, who has already shot the first promo for the upcoming series. She took to Twitter to express her excitement, "1st day of the year n shot an exciting n crazy promo 4 my favourite show!! Itni shiddat se n all that.."
Additionally, the channel has provided the viewers with a live stream video of the grand finale. There's also a 24/7 live feed for those who wish to catch interesting gossips from within the house.
