"Bigg Boss 8" contestant Upen Patel is a charming personality and claims to be single. And so, it was obvious for many of the inmates to be easily attracted to him. Sukirti Kandpal is one of them.
However, Patel has had an interesting past. With a string of rumoured love affairs, he was quite an eye candy those days.
Even though his Bollywood career never really took off, Patel was offered several modeling assignments. And on one of those assignments, the suave poster boy met Deepika Padukone. After an intimate photoshoot, the two were linked up.
"Before entering the big bad Bollywood industry these two models did ad campaigns together. Their raunchy photo-shoot pictures also did rounds and so did the rumours about them dating each other. While Upen has denied the reports in the past calling the photoshoot 'just another modelling assignment' we have our doubts about the nature of his relationship with Deepika," a Bollywood Life report stated.
But, a few reports suggest that the two have not broken up once, but twice. Rumours were rife that Padukone walked out on the relationship because of Patel's flirty nature and alliance with several women.
The model-turned-actor also briefly dated Malaika Arora Khan's sister Amrita. But, after dating each other for a while, the two broke up on a happy note. Patel, then, found love in model and VJ Shamita Singha. But that too was short-lived.
Unlucky in love, the charming model began dating Brazilian beauty Camilla Tavares. The two reportedly met at an international airport and was love-at-first-sight for them. In 2008, the couple split.
Patel, who is now a very strong contender in the "Bigg Boss 8" house, has begun bonding with TV actress Kandpal. Will he find his one true love in her? Only time will tell.
