"Comedy Nights With Kapil" casts will replace Salman Khan as the host of "Bigg Boss 8" (BB8) weekend special episode this Saturday.
Salman hosts "Weekend Ka Vaar", but he will be missing from the show on Saturday. And the reason for not hosting the show is his birthday.
The "Kick" actor will celebrate his 49th birthday on 27 December, which falls on Saturday. For the first time in five years, Salman will not be shooting for an episode.
According to reports, "Bigg Boss" has given Salman a day off to celebrate his birthday day with his family and friends.
Instead of Salman, "Comedy Nights With Kapil" casts including Kapil Sharma, Gutthi, Palak and Dadi will be entertaining audience as well as the contestants on Saturday night.
The makers have postponed the elimination or eviction episode by a day, and now it will be shot over Sunday and Monday, DNA reported.
Meanwhile, the actor will celebrate his birthday at his farmhouse in Panvel. Salman has been busy shooting "Bigg Boss 8" in Lonavla and his upcoming film "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" in Karjat and thus will not be travelling to Mumbai until New Year, the daily reported.
Salman had an eventful year starting with "Jai Ho" followed by "Kick", "Bigg Boss 8" and ending with sister Arpita Khan's high profile wedding in Hyderabad and Mumbai.
The actor has two films in his hands and a reality show, and since he wants to devote his time to complete the shooting of the film "Bajrangi Bhaijaan", directed by Kabir Khan, he decided to leave "Bigg Boss 8".
"Happy New Year" director Farah Khan has replaced Salman as the new host for the last four episodes of "Weekend Ka Vaar".
"From January (2015), I'll get busy with Bajrangi Bhaijaan. I'm shooting for that film in Rajasthan and up and down from there would be difficult for me. So, I won't be able to do the last four episodes (of the show)," Salman told IANS.
