As the new season of "Bigg Boss" hosted by Salman Khan, is all set to hit the small screens this month, the names of possible celebs likely to participate in the celebrity reality show are doing the rounds.
The buzz is that Aam Aadmi Party leader Kumar Vishwas was approached by the makers of "Bigg Boss" to participate in the show at a sum of ₹5 crore.
But, what came as a surprise is the condition thrown by the leader to take part in the controversial reality show. Vishwas has demanded a whopping ₹21 crores to mark his entry in the show's eighth season that is aired on Colors Channel.
The leader, however, has stated that he would use the money for social cause and not for his personal purposes.
In an open letter to Endemol, the poet-turned-politician stated that if the show's producers agrees to offer him the lump-sum money, as a part of his participation, he would donate the entire amount to the War Widow fund. [Read the Letter Here]
"I am what I am, because of all you friends. What I speak, is an echo of what I hear from you. I had my reservations about Big Boss. Attached is the letter that I wrote to the producers of the show. I was not made for Big Boss. The biggest Boss is Almighty. If there is any other 'boss' for me, it is India. I chose to serve Big Boss' home in order to serve those who are serving the motherland. Anyways, No worries and no hurries. I will keep serving the nation in my way. Jai Hind!" Vishwas said in his Facebook account.
However, the Colors TV team have refused to either confirm or deny Vishwas' participation in the show, reported Hindustan Times.
It now remains to be seen, until the premier of "Bigg Boss 8" takes off, if Colors TV accepts Vishwas' demand, allowing him to be confined in the house for the next 90 days or rejects his participation.
Meanwhile, some of the possible members of "Bigg Boss 8" include Khan's rumoured girlfriend Lulia Vantur, actress Ameesha Patel, Babuji aka Aloknath, TV actors Tina Dutt and Rashmi Desai from popular TV serial "Uttaran", actress Hansika Motwani and former adult star and actress Sunny Leone's husband, Daniel Weber.
Comedian Bharti Singh, popular for her comic timings, may be seen as a member of the house. Even Sunil Grover, who is well known for his on-screen character as "Gutthi" from "Comedy Nights with Kapil", was also rumoured to have been approached by the show makers to participate in the show.
