"Bigg Boss 7" contestants Kushal Tandon and Gauahar Khan shocked everyone after the former announced their break-up last month.

While speculations were rife as to why the much-in-love couple had called it off, there was also rumours on their re-union. However, Gauahar, who had remained silent all these while, decided to speak up for the sake of her fans.

Breaking the news, the "India's Raw Star" host took to Twitter to announce that the duo, who had been dating each other for the past one year, is no longer together.

"Fr all d luv n respect tat my fans hav gvn me,I owe u dis info.kushal n I rnt tgether anymore fr reasons best knwn 2us.wld rqst ul 2 respect." she tweeted. "I hav maintained a silence fr dignity n wld request all my fans to follow thru dis request..#live #love #life..."

With Gauahar latest tweet, the couple put an end to "Gaushal" that their fans used to fondly call them.

Although, the actual reason for the break-up is best known only to the heartbroken couple, Kushal had earlier told media that Gauahar had persuaded him to change his beliefs, which the actor didn't agree to, resulting in the split.

Kushal and Gauahar's love blossomed during the last season of the controversial "Bigg Boss" show, hosted by Salman Khan. The lovebirds rose to fame after receiving much love and support from their fans, who loved to watch them together in the reality show. 

With the latest announcement of the couple's break-up, "Gaushal" fans have expressed their disappointment on Twitter, hoping that the duo would get back together.
