Shruthi has become the first female contestant to win the "Bigg Boss" title. Yes, the yesteryear actress has won the third season of Kiccha Sudeep's reality show.

She has turned out to be an unexpected winner, who beat Chandan, Master Anand, Rehman and Pooja Gandhi. The "Mungaaru Male" girl was the first among five finalists to be eliminated from the grand finale. She was followed by Rehman. Master Anand was next two go and Shruthi and Chandan Kumar remained in the last stage.
In the end, it was Shruthi, who had the last laugh to win the third season of "Bigg Boss 3" Kannada. During her stay in the house, she was a mother-figure or sister-figure to most of the inmates. She displayed her strong character during tough times in the house and never crossed the line, which is one of the highlights of her win. But she is accused of playing it safe, always.
However, the result has shocked the audience. People had expected Master Anand to win the trophy. Be it in tasks or any other activities, Anand had managed to impress the viewers with his involvement. He was one of the lively persons and entertainers in "Bigg Boss 3" Kannada show. Polls conducted prior to the show had clearly indicated that he would win the trophy.
When it comes to Chandan, he had lost a few reality shows in the final stage and once again the luck was not in favour of him.
Tsunami Kitty, Pooja Gandhi, Rehman Haseeb, RJ Nethra, Ravi Mooruru, Bhavana Belagere, Huccha Venkat, Neha Gowda, Shruthi, Madhuri, Chandan, Kruthika, NC Aiyappa, Jayashree and Master Anand were the 15 contestants who entered the show on 25th October. Gauthami Gowda, Sushma Veer and Mithra entered the house as the wild-card entrants.
Shruthi was one of the popular actresses of her time, having acted with stars like the late Vishnuvardhan, Shivaraj Kumar, Ravichandran and Shashi Kumar. She acted in over 120 films in her succesful career, and is remembered for her sentimental characters.
Coming to "Bigg Boss" Kannada, the first season was won by actor Vijay Raghavendra and the second by Akul Balaji.
