The makers of "Bigg Boss 10" have raised the level of curiosity among the show's ardent viewers after it released the promo of the new season featuring Salman Khan as an astronaut. And now, rumour has it that viewers don't have to wait for a long time before the show hits the screens.
The controversial reality TV show "Bigg Boss 10" will kick-start from Oct.16 onwards, SpotboyE reported. Unlike the previous seasons, when only celebrities participated on the show, this time, the show aired on Colors television channel will see common people confined to the glass-walled house and competing against each other to win the coveted trophy.
The selection procedure for the common public required them to upload a three-minute video highlighting their best traits and explaining why they fit into the format of the show.
The names of the participants on "Bigg Boss 10" have not yet been revealed. However, a few names of possible contestants have surfaced online. Santosh Bateshwar Ray, who was slapped by Govinda eight years ago for apparently misbehaving on the sets of the film, "Money Hai Toh Honey Hai," has been approached to participate on the show. Balraj Singh Khehra, who won "MTV Roadies X4," had also expressed his willingness to join "Bigg Boss 10." Also said to have been approached to participate was Pakistani model Qandeel Baloch, but she was murdered by her brother in July.
Meanwhile, the promo of "Bigg Boss 10" featured Salman as an astronaut, talking about common men and women participating in the show. He also promised that viewers would be treated with heavy doses of drama, controversy, love and friendship. Going by the promo, it appears that the show, will be based on a spacecraft-centric theme.
