The promo of "Bigg Boss 10," featuring host Salman Khan, is finally out. The new season has been creating a lot of buzz for all the right reasons. Contrary to earlier reports, it has been revealed now that the 10th edition of the controversial reality show will include only common people, and not celebrities, as participants.
The promo features Salman as an astronaut, talking about common men and women participating in "Bigg Boss 10" and creating history. Although the short video didn't reveal much regarding the format of the show, going by the promo, it appears that the show on the Colors television channel, will be based on a spacecraft-centric theme.
Fans may recall that in the eighth season, Salman was seen as a pilot in the promo and it later turned out to be an aircraft-themed season with contestants participating as passengers. Unfortunately, the theme failed to impressed viewers.
Nevertheless, the new avatar of Salman as an astronaut has definitely raised the curiosity level among his fans, who are all geared up for an entertaining season of "Bigg Boss" with heavy doses of drama, controversy, love and friendship.
This will be the first time that common men and women will be participating on the show. The constant drop in the Television Rating Points (TRPs) of "Bigg Boss" over the past few seasons and the deficit of "Bigg Boss"-worthy celebs, may have prompted the makers to try something new and introduce commoners on the 10th edition of the show.
The names of the participants on "Bigg Boss 10" have not yet been revealed, and the audience will have to wait patiently for the list of contestants until the show begins in October.
It was reported that the "Sultan" actor, who had charged Rs. 6 to 8 crore per episode last year, had agreed to a fee cut for this season. He has instead asked Colors channel to contribute a huge sum to his charitable organisation, Being Human.
