The viewers of Bigg Boss 10 will soon witness the season's first wild card contestant entering the show. Television actress Aparna Tilak is said to be ready to enter the show this weekend.
Aparna has been seen in several shows like Left Right Left, Family Number One, Koi Apna Sa and Jeet, among others. She made her Bollywood debut with Vikram Bhatt's Footpath.
Until now, five contestants have been evicted from the Bigg Boss 10 house — Priyanka Jagga, Akansha Sharma, Navin Prakash, Karan Mehra and Lokesh Kumari. This season has been low on the Television Rating Point (TRP) chart. The show's new format, with commoners and celebrities being locked inside the same house, does not seem to be working in favour of the controversial show.
However, with Aparna entering the show as a wild card entrant, the makers appear to be making efforts to raise the TRPs during her stay.
Meanwhile Karan, who became the first celebrity contestant to be eliminated from Bigg Boss 10, felt that his eviction was unfair. Karan was evicted not based on votes, but on content. Despite receiving a large number of votes, Karan, who wasn't providing enough entertainment on the show, was shown the exit door.
Karan said that it is unfair on the makers' part to evict him. However, he is happy that he left the house with his dignity intact. "This week's elimination was decided on the basis of both votes and the content. That's what I heard," Karan told Bollywood Life. "I don't think, it's ever been done, not in this season definitely. So it's very unfair. If that's how they want to do the show, then I am more than happy to be out. For me what matters the most is that I left that house with my dignity intact."
