Bigg Boss 10: Deepika Padukone to promote her Hollywood film, XXX: The Return of Xander Cage?

The 10^th edition of controversial reality show Bigg Boss, hosted by Salman Khan, is set to hit the small screen from October 16 onwards. While speculations are rife regarding the list of contestants for the new season, rumours have it that Deepika Padukone will be making an appearance in the first weekend episode to promote her Hollywood debut film, XXX: The Return of Xander Cage.

According to a fan page of Bigg Boss on Twitter, "Reportedly, @deepikapadukone will be seen promoting her upcoming movie #XXXTheReturnofXanderCage on the first weekend episode of #BB10!!"

Since Bigg Boss has been a top rated Hindi reality show for the past several seasons now, it does not come as a surprise that the show has become a great platform for celebrities to promote their films. Many Bollywood actors, including Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Hrithik Roshan, Ranveer Singh, Parineeti Chopra, Shahid Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha, Katrina Kaif and Aditya Roy Kapur have promoted their movies on Bigg Boss. Deepika too has appeared on the show earlier to promote her Bollywood films.

If the speculation about Deepika making an appearance on Bigg Boss 10 turns out to be true, it will be a visual treat for the actress' fans, who have been eagerly waiting for her Hollywood debut film, to see her promote XXX: The Return of Xander Cage on Salman's show. The movie also stars Vin Diesel and will hit cinemas on January 20.

Meanwhile, Bigg Boss 10 will be aired on Colors TV channel. The show will be telecast at 10:30 pm from Monday to Friday, and at 9 pm on Saturday and Sunday. The new season will see common people participating on the show along with celebrities.
