BIGBANG member T.O.P is hardly in the news. The relatively quiter member of the all-boy band often prefers privacy. So, fans were surprised when the rapper opened up about his past relationships.
T.O.P, whose real name is Choi Seung-hyun, recently attended a press conference at Seoul's Imperial Hotel to promote his new web series, "Secret Message." The BIGBANG member, who plays the lead in the drama series, revealed his reason for joining the cast.
"Whether or not I have any scars from love, the scenario of taking an interest in love appealed to me. I thought I would be able to express it in an interesting fashion," said T.O.P, reported Allkpop.
The "Fantastic Baby" singer also said that his dating life has been dull ever since he launched his music career. In his own words, he hasn't had even three girlfriends in the past ten years. This lull in his love life life made him empathise with the lead character, Woohyun.
Recently, the web series' OST video was released. The song titled "Hi Haruka" features T.O.P and his co-star, Ueno Juri and includes snippets from "Secret Message."
T.O.P's web series, "Secret Message" is a joint project between Korea and Japan. The plot circles around a Korean man and a Japanese woman who try to get over their first love and find companionship in each other, reported Koreaboo.
"Secret Message" is scheduled for a worldwide release on Monday, 2 November.
