"The Big Bang Theory" will return with a brand new episode on Thursday that will feature Stuart re-opening the comic book store as well as the gang receiving the sad news of Mrs Wolowitz's death.
Thursday's episode will pay tribute to Carol Ann Susi, the voice of Mrs Wolowitz who died in November after a battle with cancer. She was never seen on screen, but her booming voice and comic timing made her one of the most loved casts of "The Big Bang Theory."
Sadly, the character will bid adieu in the upcoming episode titled "The Comic Book Store Regeneration," where the characters will be seen recalling some of their most loved memories of Howard's mother. In her own way, Mrs Wolowitz has been a loving mother not just to Howard, but to the entire gang as well.
As the title of the episode suggests, the comic book store will once again be reopened, and Stuart and Howard will get into an argument when the latter notices his mother's furniture at the comic book store.
The previous few episodes saw Mrs Wolowitz essentially replacing her son with Stuart, and the two haven't been in good terms since then. It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that Howard is "weirded out" by Stuart's relationship with his mother, whom the comic book owner lovingly calls "Debbie."
In ""The Comic Book Store Regeneration" too, Howard will be shown displeased when Mrs Wolowitz, who is visiting her sister in Florida, asks him to check on Stuart. However, his displeasure won't last long as he will receive a call saying she went to sleep and never woke up.
The summary of "The Comic Book Store Regeneration" reads: "Amy is helping Barry Kripke and doing experiments on her friends. Stuart reopens his comic book store, while Howard receives the news of the death of his mother."
"Castle" actor Nathan Fillion guest-stars in the episode that has John Ross Bowie as Barry Kripke, Kevin Sussman as Stuart.
"The Big Bang Theory" airs Thursdays on CBS.
