Malayalam actress Bhavana, after entertaining viewers in "Angry Babies in Love", is all set rock in the upcoming movie "Adventures of Omanakuttan".
If reports are to be believed, the discerning actress will appear as a flamenco dancer and play the role of Pallavi opposite Asif Ali. The movie is directed by Rohit VS.
The film's storyline revolves around a young man and his struggle to succeed in life. The makers have not revealed anything more about the film. Reportedly, the cast and crew of the film are mostly youngsters in their early 20s.
"We have roped in Bhavana to play the female lead, Pallavi, opposite Asif Ali. She is adept in the Spanish folk dance. The bold yet cute character has a string of interesting traits, which everyone would love. The comedy entertainer, which deals with a serious issue, revolves around the protagonist, Omanakuttan, and the travails of his life. We are yet to finalise the other cast," said Rohit to The Times of India.
The team is now busy getting a good tutor to train Bhavana in the dance form. Both Bhavana and Asif Ali have earlier teamed up in "Honey Bee", "Ozhimuri" and "Happy Husbands".
Reports also suggest that both the lead actors would get an image makeover, for both the actors and the team have already released the motion teaser for the movie.
Bhavana is currently shooting for Shyamaprasad's crime thriller "Ivide", which has Prithviraj and Nivin Pauly in the lead roles. Asif Ali is now awaiting the release of his films "Driver on Duty" directed by Manoj Palodan, "Doubel Barrel" by Lijo Jose Pellissery and "Nirnaayakam" by VK Prakash.
The shooting of "Adventures of Omanakuttan" is expected to kick start by February in Mysore. The screenplay and the dialogues are written by Sameer Abdul.
While the cinematography is handled by Akhil George, the editing will be done by Livingstone Mathew. The music of the film will be composed by Arun Muraleedharan and Dawn Vincent.
