Bhaiyyaji Superhit (Bhaiaji Superhit) starring Sunny Deol has had a dull start at the box office, but its collection picked up a little on its day 2.
Having very minimal hype around it, the movie had collected Rs 1 crore (approximately) at the Indian box office on its opening day. Despite having a big star cast of Sunny, Preity Zinta Arshad Warsi, Shreyas Taplade and Ameesha Patel, Bhaiyyaji Supperhit failed to make much of an impact at the commercial circuits on the first day.
However, with the weekend coming in, the comedy drama enjoyed better occupancy at the theatres on Saturday. Bhaiyyaji Superhit collected Rs 1.50 crore at the Indian box office on day 2, taking its two days earning to around Rs 2.50 crore (approximately), according to sources.
Bhaiyyaji Superhit had received mixed reviews from the critics as some found the film to be entertaining and some others declared it a disaster. Same kind of mixed response came from the audience as well.
However, as there is no other big release and Thugs of Hindostan already almost dead at the box office, the Sunny starrer is likely to witness a little more jump in business on Sunday as well.
Directed by Neeraj Pathak, the movie has been released on limited screens, and has just one week survival time as it will be completely removed from theatres after the release of mega budget film 2.0 on November 29.
