A fresh controversy has hit celebrity couple Beyoncé Knowles, 32 and Jay-Z, 44 besides divorce rumours, as a lady named Tina Seals has claim to be the biological mother of the couple's two-year-old daughter Blue Ivy Carter.
Seals filed a law suit against Beyonce on 14 August for the custody of her alleged daughter Blue Ivy, according the reports by Hollywoodlife.
Leslie Barbara, a matrimonial family expert, suggested that a surrogate can have the right on the child.
"It is entirely possible that a surrogate could come in and have some rights to a child. Even if rights were relinquished in a contract. Even though [surrogates] do relinquish rights, at the end of the day the surrogate can come in and make claims," Leslie explained to Hollywoodlife, adding, "Basically, today's families are created in many different ways. The baby business is a whole subculture."
The lawyer's of Beyonce have not made any official statements on the issue.
Meanwhile, the controversy about Blue Ivy's mother comes as a shock to fans of Beyonce and Jay Z, as the celebs recently released the video of their baby girl's birth. The footage, which was released on 26 June during the couple's "On The Run" tour, showed Jay Z putting his hands on Beyonce's pregnant belly, as per the report.
In another news surrounding Jay Z and Beyonce, it has been said that they may put an end to rumours of their divorce at the MTV VMA's on 24 August. The duo have been keeping mum on separation reports that was incited by famous 5 May elevator fight.
"Beyonce wants to tackle the rumours in the best way she knows how, on stage," a source revealed to the Website. "During her performance, she is looking to do something to hopefully silence all the haters and the critics but, in true entertainment fashion, to make even more questions come out of it. She wants to make a statement that people will be talking about for a very long time."
