Beyonce and Jay Z have once again come under fire for not taking proper care of their daughter Blue Ivy's hair. A woman called Jasmine Toliver, in regards to Ivy's hair, has started an online petition called "Comb her Hair" which has been posted on Change.org. It apparently demands that Ivy's hair should be combed suitably.
"As a woman who understands the importance of hair care. It's disturbing to watch a child suffering from the lack of hair moisture. The parents of Blue Ivy. Sean Carter A.K.A Jay-Z and Beyoncé has failed at numerous attempts of doing Blue Ivy Hair. This matter has escalated to the child developing matted dreads and lint balls. Please let's get the word out to properly care for Blue Ivy hair," Toliver wrote on the petition's main page.
This petition is indeed disconcerting for Beyoncé and Jay Z as they like leaving their daughter's hair in natural state. Additionally, the couple's fans have been supporting them and explained that the child's hair being left natural doesn't imply that they don't take care of their daughter.
However, the petition has gone viral and has already received more than 3560 signatures. After the extensive online spread of the appeal, Toliver took to Facebook and explained that "Obviously the petition was a joke!"
Toliver's claim of joke apparently does not suffice as Change.org is a serious website and it has petitions pertaining to real issues such as for sick children, politics, animal cruelty and others.
It is being understood that Toliver's petition is insensitive and many people took to Twitter to express their discontentment, with a few even branding it as a manifestation of racism.
What's the point of petitioning Blue Ivy's hair? Leave that baby and the parents alone! They're installing values in her, not an image.

Unfortunately, online media has been targeting Beyoncé and Jay Z for over a month now. Just last month their private life became a breeding ground of speculation, when a video of Beyoncé's sister Solange hitting Jay Z went viral. The video was a CCTV footage and was leaked by an unknown person.
The couple has still not commented on Ivy's hair petition.
