A 15-year-old girl committed suicide in Bengaluru on Monday, after four boys allegedly kidnapped her, stripped her clothes off and clicked her pictures.
Sangeetha, 15, who was a ninth standard student at a government high school in Chikkajala, was abducted by the four boys when she was returning home from school on Monday, 5 October.
They took her to a isolated place, stripped her and photographed her, reported DNA.
On Monday, after her father returned home from work, he found her hanging in their house.
She had left behind a suicide note blaming the four boys from her neighbourhood for having sexually harassed her.
The suicide note said, "They (the accused) will say this is not my hand writing but I have written this." However, the police are not sure if the letter was actually written by Sangeeta.
The police have arrested two of the four accused, Krishnamurthy and Mohan. The other two are absconding.
Sangeeta's family has allegedly blamed police inaction for the death of their daughter. They said that the police were 'negligent' in taking steps on Saturday when Sangeeta and her father had gone in connection with a dispute between her family and Mohan's family.
However, the police filed a non-cognisable case and told Sangeeta to go back home.
The Bengaluru police are investigating the case.
