At least three people have been reportedly injured after a private bus caught fire in Bengaluru's KR Puram area on Tuesday.
The three injured have been rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment, according to an NDTV report.
The fire was under control after two fire engines tended to the burning bus. The vehicle caught fire after colliding with a motorcycle, officials said.
This is the fourth such incident in the state since October last year. Earlier in April this year, an AC bus travelling from Karnataka's Davangere region to Bangalore was engulfed in fire, in which three people died, according to earlier IBNLive report.
In another incident in November 2013, seven people were charred to death and 40 others were injured as the bus travelling to Mumbai from Bangalore caught fire in Karnataka's Haveri district. Also, in October last year, 45 people lost their lives in a major accident when a Volvo bus heading to Hyderabad from Bangalore was caught up in flames.
