The Bachelor Season 20 couple Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell may have had a happy ending on the dating reality show, as they got engaged in the season finale. But once back in the real world, Higgins and Bushnell have had to deal with issues plaguing ever other couple, and one of them is insecurity.
As viewers of The Bachelor already know, Season 20 of the show saw Higgins saying "I love you" to Bushnell as well as JoJo Fletcher. This, coupled with the fact that Higgins agreed to a lunch date with Fletcher and her fiancé Jordan Rodgers without consulting Bushnell, has caused a strain in their romance. The second episode will showcase some of the awkwardness Bushnell felt while going on the double date.
The episode is titled An Offer We Can't Refuse? and the official synopsis reads: "Ben and Lauren have an awkward lunch date with JoJo and her fiancé. Later, the couple travel back to Denver; and Lauren plays a prank on Ben."
Fletcher and Bushnell had maintained a friendship even after the dating reality show ended, but it looks like that relationship has come under strain. Recently, when Fletcher was asked if she and Rodgers had seen the Freeform TV series, Fletcher said she does not know anything about the show.
"We were on a flight from L.A. to Dallas that night," she was quoted as saying by Us Weekly. "Did anyone watch it? I don't know anything about it."
Ben and Lauren: Happily Ever After airs Tuesdays on Freeform. New episodes can be watched online on freeform.go.com.
