Ben Affleck seems to be making serious efforts to patch things up with Jennifer Garner. If the latest reports are anything to go by, then the "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" actor has cut all ties with former nanny Christine Ouzounian in an effort to reconcile with his ex.
Ever since Ben-Jen announced their divorce, reports and rumours suggesting that the actor's alleged affair with his nanny Christine was the real reason behind his divorce have been running wild.
And now, after months of backlash revolving around Ben's cheating scandal with Christine Ouzounian, a source has told Life & Style (via Ok!) that Affleck has moved on completely and is putting in serious efforts to get back in good terms with Jennifer Garner.
"He cut ties with her recently. He told Christine he couldn't handle another relationship when things were still so painful and raw between him and Jen," the source said.
In fact, a source close to Ouzounian added that Ben "had fun with Christine, but it wasn't love."
Back then, the actor's team denied the cheating claims, but there was still buzz going around that Affleck was in touch with Ouzounian and supporting her financially even after the divorce.
But now, this new report claims that Ben has ditched Christine and is focusing completely on reconciling with his "Daredevil" co-star.
An insider told the website that Ben's decision of leaving her, didn't go well with Ouzounian. "So when Ben finally told Christine they were over, she was pissed. She told friends that she asked him point-blank, 'What about all the things you promised me?' Ben didn't have an answer, but he knew better than to engage her any further," a source said.
The report while pointing out the occasion when Ben Affleck was spotted with Garner on a dinner date with friends in mid-September, also revealed that the actor has cut off most of his contact with Ouzounian.
Well, it looks like Ben Affleck is seriously working towards bridging the gap with Jennifer Garner following their divorce.
