Ranveer Singh is all set to play supposedly the toughest role of his career in the movie "Bajirao Mastani". The actor will play the lead role of Bajirao and the actor apparently worked very hard to get into the character.
Just before releasing the trailer of "Bajirao Mastani", makers of the movie have released a behind-the-scene video which briefly shows the process of Ranveer's transformation into the brave warrior.
The one and a half minute video shows Ranveer's first step towards transforming into Bajirao, which started with shaving his head.
After having his head tonsured, Ranveer gets his moustache in shape and soon he gets transformed into Bajirao.
Ranveer has till date been seen in more or less romantic and fun-filled characters, but he will now be seen in a completely different avatar, playing the intense role of the Maratha king.
Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, "Bajirao Mastani" also features Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra in key roles.
Deepika will play the role of Mastani and Priyanka will be seen as Bajirao's first wife, Kashibai. After the release of its trailer on 20 November, the movie will hit the screens on 18 December and will have a box office clash with Shah Rukh Khan's "Dilwale".
