Animal prints have always been a part of style statement for many celebrities, including Bollywood divas and international fashion icons.
Bollywood stars like Sonam Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor and Malaika Arora Khan and international celebrities like Beyonce Knowles, Jennifer Garner and Gwen Stefani have been seen wearing outfits with tribal prints.
B-town stars Deepika Padukone and Diana Penty recently made a style statement in the movie "Cocktail" with tribal looks.
"Social influence is always a part of setting a trend and fashion forecast. In today's socio-economic state, people want to move away from urban trend and return to the basics. So that is the reason why tribal art and culture is influencing the mind of the artist and the creator. The rural and relaxed art pleases the eye," fashion designer Indira Baikerikar Ghosh was quoted as saying by IANS.
Tribal trends are generally exotic and are symbols of wealth and status. Designer Pria Kataaria Puri says the tribal print has come into trend for the comfort it gives.
Snake and leopard prints are part of the urban trend. Leopard print tops, skirts, swimsuits and dresses have given an exotic color to the fashion world.
Animal print shoes are trendy and match almost with everything. So are animal print bags, hats, belts and scarves.
