A post mail carrier in Canada did not deliver a package to its respective owner as there was a 'bear at the door'.
Mathew Fane, from Vancouver suburb, got a note from post mail worker, in which the reason for not delivering his parcel was because of a bear on the prowl, reports Mail Online.
He found it the best excuse ever and posted a photo of that note on Twitter on Wednesday, left by the postman in his mail box. He also tweeted saying it is a decent reason to not drop the package off at my door."
Ok, fair enough @canadapostcorp that's a decent reason to not drop the package off at my door. pic.twitter.com/ykAldpWpEP

On this, the Canada Post asked Fane to give his location details as they wanted to investigate the matter. He said he had no complaints and investigation was not needed.

"The service was great, just thought it was funny," Fane tweeted.
He told Huffington Post that bears are commonly sighted in his neighbourhood. He denied giving any further details regarding the package to "help the postal worker's privacy should the employer have issues with the situation."
Fane tweeted a photo of a bear which was outside his house. The Huffington Post reports that the mail worker took the photo as the evidence if Fane files a complaint against him.
