Paramount Pictures will release a red band trailer for Baywatch movie next week. This will be the fifth trailer for the Dwayne Johnson, Zac Effron, and Priyanka Chopra starrer.
As we know, most of the previous trailers did not reveal much on movie's racy content. And unlike the four trailers, the new Baywatch promo clip will offer a glimpse into the strong sexual content in the movie.
Baywatch star Dwayne Johnson took to Instagram to share a snippet on the new trailer. "Heat is rising... One of the most anticipated movies of 2017 and one big ass RATED R hug to the summer. #AvengersOfTheBeach #BAYWATCH MAY 25th!" The Rock posted.
According to Trailer Track, the official website for Consumer Protection BC has enlisted the fifth trailer for Baywatch as part of distribution for Paramount Pictures Canada. The trailer is classified with other movies which have been rated '14A' [Canadian 14A rating is similar to PG-13 in the US] or higher. The reason behind the 14A rating is the "nine instances of coarse and/or sexual language" in the trailer.
The reboot of the famous 90s TV series of the same name, Baywatch, got an R rating in March over "language throughout, crude sexual content, and graphic nudity". Dwayne Johnson has described the movie as "far dirtier" than the original TV show.
The movie, directed by Seth Gordon, is slated for release on May 25. Baywatch features Dwayne Johnson, Zac Efron, Priyanka Chopra, Alexandra Daddario, Jon Bass, Kelly Rohrbach, Ilfenesh Hadera, and Hannibal Buress in pivotal roles.
Baywatch will release in India on June 2, 2017, a week later after its worldwide release.
