With 2015 already upon us, hardcore FPS fans are already looking ahead to what the year might have to offer, as far as the gaming industry is concerned. And needless to say, we are sure there's a new Call of Duty or Battlefield (or both) waiting in the distance only to be unleashed to the world.

However, taking into consideration whatever we know, the next biggest thing we are indeed waiting for is Battlefield Hardline, the upcoming shooter in the more than glorious Battlefield series of titles. And as it seems, the upcoming beta for Battlefield Hardline has now been treated to some much needed details.

Not only has Visceral announced the first details about the upcoming Battlefield Hardline beta, it has also revealed that it will be available on all platforms, with players also being able to play as cops and criminals.

A recent blog post from the game's executive producer Steve Papoutsis explained that Battlefield Hardline's beta will be available for PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. Not only that, he even revealed there won't be any kind of cap on the max progression level that the player can achieve. This means you can unlock as many classes and gadgets as you want to.

"While it's just a taste of the whole game, we want you to come in, take your jacket off, stay awhile," he stated via the blog post. "There won't be a cap on the max progression level so whether you're busting criminals or fleeing the cops, unlock away. The beta is your shot to test the different classes, toy with different gadgets, and find your crew to take down your foes."

"To be frank, we want you to play this beta to death. We need you to. This test is only going to make the game stronger, and help us take a look at ways we can ensure we deliver the most stable launch you deserve," he added.

While the new details for Hardline Beta comes as welcome news for all of us, a few of us also wanted the devs to reveal as to when the beta actually kicks off. But we don't expect it to be that far away. As far as Battlefield Hardline is concerned, the game comes out this March.
