The Battlefield 4 Beta access has begun and DICE, creator of the first-person shooter game, has revealed the rollout schedule for UK and other global audiences.
Time details for the Battlefield 4 Beta rollout, as reported by Eurogamer, are:
PC: Already Live
Microsoft Xbox 360: 2am-6am PDT (Pacific Daylight Time) or 10am-2pm UK time
PlayStation 3: 7am-11am PDT (In Europe), 3pm-7pm UK time and 3pm-7pm PDT (In US)
DICE has also given a reminder that the release dates for PS3 and Xbox 360 are controlled by Sony and Microsoft.
Beta version (Which will be live from 4 October)
PC: 9am UK time
Xbox 360: 2am-6am PDT (Worldwide) and 10am-2pm UK time
PS3: 7am-11am PDT (Worldwide), 11am PDT (in US) and 3pm-7pm UK time
The Battlefield 4 Beta which went live on 1 October includes Conquest mode and Domination mode on the Siege of Shanghai map, according to Eurogamer.
The Conquest mode is said to be designed for 24 players on Microsoft Xbox 360 and Sony PS3 and 64 players in Xbox One, PS4 and PC. The Domination mode is available for 20 players across all platforms, states IGN.
The Conquest mode is based on two teams capturing the limited amount of flag points, whereas the Domination mode is more or less similar to Conquest mode but without any player spawn on the location. However, they can spawn all over the map randomly or next to a team member. This mode features no vehicles at all, according to BF4 Central.
In a related news, more details on Battlefield 4's Commander mode has been revealed by DICE. Some of the features included in the mode are High Value Targets, Becoming a commander and Commander Mutiny.
These three features help the player earn bonus by completing a time-bound mission. It also allows players to participate in a match as a commander and explains the procedure for changing the commander by the squad leaders in the game.
