"Battlefield 1" is the latest game from developer EA DICE and publisher Electronic Arts unveiled the game on May 7 with its first trailer showing off the game's World War I setting. The trailer had showed the in-game characters riding their horses, which raised questions if the players would be able to ride them.
But an image leak via Reddit hinted that the new "Battlefield 1" could allow players to customise the warhorses in the game.
The leaked image shows players can use the horse as a primary weapon and it provides its user with countermeasures like Horse Apples, blinker optics, horseshoe upgrade, gunner optics, sunglasses and more.
The game provides players with World War I weapons like bolt-action rifles, automatic and semi-automatic rifles, artillery, flamethrowers, and mustard gas. Weapon classes include assault (SMG), medic (Semi-Auto), support (LMG) and scout (Sniper).
Melee weapons include shovel, mace, bayonet. Vehicles include bi-planes, bomber planes, tanks, light tanks, boats, ships, horses, zeppelins and more.
World War I settings could include the Western Front, Alps, Arabian deserts.
"Battlefield 1" is expected to be released on Oct. 21, but Xbox One players with EA Access will be able to play the game earlier on Oct. 18. The game is coming on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
