Two methods to unlock things:
- The first method is through collective points that level-up your solider ratings: This is irrespective of vehicles and ammunitions and dynamically impacts your soldier rank. For every level-up of your soldier rank, in Battlefield 1 beta, you are rewarded 90 war bonds that are used to unlock newer weapons/equipment.
- The second method of leveling-up and unlocking weapons is via the individual kit. To unlock weapons, you need to reach a certain ranking in your kit and then using war bonds you can unlock weapons and all unlockable items.
For instance, you need to reach ranks 3, 2 and 1 to unlock bandages. When you reach these ranks, you will see 30 next to the unlockable item. Click this to unlock the item and select unlock. However, you need to have war bonds in your accounts.
The currently seeding Battlefield 1 open beta lets players obtain a customized Beta Dog Tag upon attaining rank 15 or higher by playing the game individually on four separate days.
