As Battlefield 1 ends 2016 closer to being a leader in games, loyalists now have two burning questions. While the first question is with respect to the first DLC to the game, the other is regarding when the next iteration in the new Battlefield trilogy would seed. Now, renowned Battlefield 1 tipster Jackfrags has tried to address these important issues.
Jackfrags, via his new YouTube video (embedded below), states that Battlefield 1 gamers can expect the first DLC in March 2017. The USP of this DLC would be its introduction of the French army into Battlefield 1. After this, future DLCs would bring in even the Russian army into the game.
Also, the Season pass within the first Battlefield 1 DLC would unlock 16 multiplayer maps. Finally, there would be 14 unique Dog Tags, along with the option of obtaining early access to future premium DLCs.
Jackfrags also expects that there would be a standalone Battlefield game in 2017 to cater to the competitive gaming segment. This is said to be completely different from Battlefield 1.
At this point in time, it is a known fact that a new Battlefront iteration will be released in 2017. But Jackfrags hints that EA Dice could be engaged in developing a new competitive Battlefield game.
As of now, EA Dice is yet to even talk about the imminent release of a new Battlefield game, so the competitive Battlefield variant (as hinted at by Jackfrags) seems a distant possibility.
