Fox superhero series "Gotham" reportedly revolves around the early life of Batman and his evolution as a superhero. So it could probably provide an important background to the upcoming movie, "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice", with some of the lead characters reprising their roles in the film.
While it has been speculated that detective James Gordon is being killed off in the movie, there is also a buzz about The Joker's appearance as a culprit.
Although the film is overcrowded with superheroes, including Diana Prince aka Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot), Arthur Curry aka Aquaman (Jason Momoa), Clark Kent aka Superman (Henry Cavill) and Bruce Wayne aka Batman (Ben Affleck), "Gotham" fans can expect to watch some of their favourite characters on big screens.
Catwoman, The Riddler, Alfred, Dick Grayson, The Batmobile, Thomas and Martha Wayne are the characters who could probably appear in the film.
The Batmobile is expected to help the protagonist in making his own identity while Catwoman is likely to give moral support to him as his nemesis. Dick Grayson, Alfred, Thomas and Martha Wayne had played major roles in Bruce Wayne's life and hence they could appear in flash-backs.
