Looks like Jena Malone's mysterious role in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" has been finally revealed — and no, she's neither Batgirl nor the female Robin.
Malone's casting (and her red hair) invited a lot of curiosity from fans who speculated that the actress might be playing Carrie Kelly, the iteration of Robin from Frank Miller's "The Dark Knight Returns." Later, rumours suggested that she would be playing Barbara Gordon, aka. Batgirl. However, with the release of the film's extended cut just around the corner, we may have a better idea of her character's name and role in the film.
Recently, a copy of the "Batman v Superman" Ultimate Cut leaked online, revealing, among several other spoilers, that Malone plays a S.T.A.R. Labs forensic scientist named Jenet Klyburn who helps Lois Lane figure out the mysteries behind that bullet she recovered from the desert, reports ScreenRant.
Additionally, a YouTube video was also posted on Reddit, titled "Batman V Superman – Ultimate Edition – End Credits" and it credited Malone as Jenet Klyburn. The video has since been removed, but it lends credence to reports revealing Malone's character in the film.
"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" Ultimate Edition will become available on Digital HD on June 28, 2016 and Blu-ray on July 19, 2016.
