'Batman V Superman' First Look: Ben Affleck-Henry Cavill Face Off in Superhero Avatars, Lex Luthor Sports Long Locks [PHOTOS]

"Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" was announced almost two years ago and it's release date is less than a year away. But, the makers have ensured that the fans get their regular dose of the inside story, scoop and the action happening on the sets of the movie.

Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Entertainment have released some new official stills from "Batman V Superman", which gives fans a sneak peek into the real look of the characters in the film.

Be it Gal Gadot's debut as Wonder Woman/Diana Prince, or Ben Affleck's Batman/Bruce Wayne's appearance without the bat suit, his face off with Superman (Henry Cavill) and Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor with long hair, the first official photos give you all the scoop.

The new set of six photographs was released by the studio was posted by Entertainment Weekly on their Twitter page.

Now obviously, the film is about a massive face off between the two most popular superheros, so a shot of Affleck and Cavill looking eye-to-eye in a heated stare off is well justified.
