"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is one of the most-anticipated films of 2016. Christina Wren, who plays Carrie Farris in the flick, recently revealed some interesting details about the film.
The actress said that Zack Snyder's film has been built on the premise laid in "Man of Steel". She also had all the praises for the cast and crew of the film.
"I can tell you that I think it's going to be badass. They're just such an awesome team. The bits that I was on set for look fantastic; everyone in it is fantastic. It's exciting; it's high-energy; it's high-action," she revealed to Pittsburgh magazine.
The actress also spoke about her role in the film. She hinted that her character might play a key role on the silver screen. She said her character could be linked to Green Lantern.
"So there's some gossip; this has not been officially confirmed with me at all. But my character's name is Carrie Farris; there's a character named Carol Farris who's the Green Lantern's girlfriend and turns into this superhero, Star Sapphire. But I have no idea if that's the plan; they're not even slated to do a Green Lantern film for several years," she revealed.
Carrie Farris is the United States Air Force officer. She overlooks the operations of United States Northern Command. She arrived at the airbase with General Swanwick. In the comic book, Farris later turns into villain Star Sapphire.
It is still not clear as to what storyline will Farris follow in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice". The film stars Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill has Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman and others. It is scheduled to be released on 25 March, 2016, in IMAX 3D. It has been written by Chris Terrio and produced by Deborah Snyder and Charles Roven.
