Ben Affleck's solo Batman film is rapidly turning out to be one of the most talked-about upcoming superhero films. And with good reason — Affleck's take on the Bat was considered the only saving grace for the critically panned "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice."
Since the project was officially announced, several rumours regarding the plot of the film started circulating online, with most of them suggesting that the film will be loosely based on the popular DC comics, "Death in the Family" and "Under The Red Hood."
However, Affleck, who is also directing and co-writing the film with DC's Geoff Johns, recently revealed that he plans to put an original spin on the film's story. (via CosmicBookNews)
"I think what I would do, what I probably would do, is in some ways what Zack did with this movie, which is to borrow certain things from the great comic books, but create an original story around it because I wouldn't want the fans to already know the story and be familiar, but I would borrow, steal, great things that have been done before in the comics."
Meanwhile, as per a recent rumour-based report by Birth.Movies.Death, Affleck's upcoming reboot will be a "definite Batman film" with plenty of villains.
